MapInfo MapBasic

MapBasic is a BASIC-like programming language that helps developers to accomplish the following tasks :

	Customize MapInfo Professional’s user-interface
	Automate repetitive procedures
	Create new utility using generic MapInfo Professional functions
	Integrate MapInfo with other software system

Programs compiled by MapBaisc MUST run on top of MapInfo Professional or a special MapInfo Runtime version.

MapBasic is targeted for users with programming background and general knowledge about MapInfo Professional.
